Barney Saltzberg has been captivating audiences since 1980 as he has traveled all over the world speaking about creativity. As a keynote speaker at numerous conferences as well as a visiting author/illustrator at schools and libraries from China, Russia, India, Spain, Vietnam and throughout the United States, Mr. Saltzberg presents a range of programs, both academically based and just plain fun, with a clear, uplifting message to children of all ages.
Barney Saltzberg
Barney Saltzberg is the author and illustrator of close to 50 books for children, including Beautiful Oops!, Arlo Needs Glasses, Andrew Drew and Drew, and the bestselling Touch and Feel Kisses series with over a million copies in print. Additionally, he’s recorded four albums of music for children. When an art school teacher once told Barney that he had the ability to draw like a child (and, after he crawled out from under the table), he realized he had future in children’s literature. Barney has been working with the United States State Department as a part of the Cultural Exchange Program and has traveled to China and Russia to speak about the creative process. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two dogs.
