Billie Breslin has traveled far from her home in California to take a job at Delicious!, New York’s most iconic food magazine. Away from her family, particularly her older sister, Genie, Billie feels like a fish out of water—until she is welcomed by the magazine’s colorful staff. Ruth Reichl was born and raised in Greenwich Village. She wrote her first cookbook at 21, and went on to be the restaurant critic of both the Los Angeles Times and the New York Times. She was Editor-in-Chief of Gourmet Magazine for ten years. She now lives with her husband in upstate New York. She is the author of several books including the highly acclaimed, national bestselling memoir Tender at the Bone.
