Laura Anne Bird

Laura Anne Bird lives in Madison and is the middle grade author of Marvelous Jackson and Crossing the Pressure Line. When she’s not writing, reading, or reviewing books, she volunteers as an ambassador for Wisconsin Book Festival, a board member for Madison Public Library Foundation, and Co-chair of Lunch for Libraries. She is also one of the judges of Madison Public Library's We Read Youth Voices Writing Contest, whose winners are being announced and celebrated on Saturday, October 25 as part of the festival's 24th Annual Fall Celebration, in the children's section of Central Library at 9:15 a.m. Join Laura on Instagram @laura_at_the_library where she dishes on all things literary in our fine city.
