Sean Hammer is the 2019-2020 Jay C. and Ruth Halls Fiction Fellow. His work has appeared in Mid-American Review, The Penn Review, Pinball, and Kindle Singles, where his short story “Cornbread” was named a Top Ten Kindle Single of the Year. He was a writer-in-residence at 360 Xochi Quetzal in Chapala, Mexico, and has been an Adjunct Lecturer of Creative Writing at Hunter College in New York City. He is a native of Silver Spring, Maryland, and is currently working on a novel.
